A Note to Our Partners and Friends
As you may have heard, the White House recently announced a series of new reciprocal tariffs, effective April 2. These tariffs begin at 10% and can go as high as 50%, depending on the country of origin. While the situation is still evolving—some countries are negotiating for lower rates while others are raising theirs in response—the impact on international trade is already being felt.
While we proudly make all of our products here in the United States, it's important to know that many of the raw materials we use—blank garments, specialty threads, and high-quality inks—are imported. These imported components are now subject to the new tariffs, which directly affect the total cost of producing each item.
We know that together we have worked hard to keep pricing fair for your parents, participants and fans, and pricing changes are the last thing you want to spend your time thinking about. We truly wish we didn’t have to bring this to you—but in times like these, our hands are tied. We’re sharing this because we believe in being as transparent as possible.
What This Means for You
-
Increased Production Costs
Many of the countries our suppliers rely on for raw materials—such as Vietnam, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, and China—now face new tariffs ranging from 34% to 47%, on top of any existing duties. -
Price Adjustment Coming June 1
Beginning June 1, we’ll be implementing a single price adjustment to reflect these rising costs. Rather than updating prices product-by-product or country-by-country, we’re taking a balanced, simplified approach that keeps pricing more consistent and predictable. We’ll continue doing everything we can to minimize the impact on you. -
Looking Ahead
Our suppliers are actively working to shift sourcing to countries with lower tariff rates, such as Honduras. If those efforts succeed—and if international tariff negotiations move in a favorable direction—we’re hopeful that prices could stabilize or even decrease by 2026. -
Ongoing Monitoring
We’re keeping a close eye on tariff developments and global supply costs. As major fluctuations occur, further pricing adjustments may be necessary. We'll always communicate those changes with as much notice and clarity as possible.
We understand this isn’t easy, and we sincerely apologize for having to make these changes. If you have any questions or would like to talk about how this may affect your items, you have my cell phone—please feel free to reach out directly.
Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and trust. We’re in this with you—and we’re committed to staying transparent as we navigate it together.
We’ll continue to send email updates as more information becomes available.
