SQUADRON PRIDE. A PRACTICAL WAY TO RAISE FUNDS.
Custom military apparel and online fundraising stores for the Ugly Angels and Wolfpack.
Planning an officers’ ball takes coordination, time, and a budget. Selling squadron merchandise can help raise money, but collecting sizes, chasing payments, and distributing shirts adds another job to an already busy schedule.
That is where rgbCOMMERCE, Inc. comes in. We were approached to help VMM-362 and HMH-466 raise money for their officers’ balls through dedicated online merchandise stores. The goal was straightforward: give Marines, families, and supporters gear they are proud to wear while creating a way for each squadron’s fundraising program to earn a percentage of sales.
The stores are provided at no cost to the group. Supporters shop online, we handle merchandise production and fulfillment, and the group earns money from the sales it generates under its agreed commission terms.
Meet VMM-362: The Ugly Angels
Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 362 (VMM-362), known as the Ugly Angels, is based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California. It belongs to Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and operates the MV-22B Osprey, a tiltrotor aircraft that combines vertical takeoff and landing with fixed-wing flight.
The squadron’s history reaches back to 1952. Reactivated in 2018 under its current tiltrotor designation, the Ugly Angels carry a long aviation heritage into their mission of transporting troops and equipment. Learn more on the official VMM-362 squadron page.
Their merchandise reflects that identity. The VMM-362 online store includes Ugly Angels apparel, Olaf designs, surf and sunset graphics, headwear, bags, and drinkware. With different designs and product types, Marines and their families can find something that fits their own style while supporting the same fundraising effort.
Squadron pride beyond the flight line
The collection goes beyond shirts and caps. Take the Ugly Angels to the course with an Olaf OGIO golf bag, keep a 32 oz. water bottle handy, or choose a tote cooler or embroidered layer for everyday use. Each product below links directly to its listing.

Maintenance crew gear: Recognizing the backbone of the squadron
A squadron’s story includes the people working on the aircraft long before takeoff. The maintenance crew is its backbone: the Marines whose skill, attention, and daily work help keep the aircraft ready to fly.
The VMM-362 collection gives that work its own recognition with maintenance crew T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, and coffee mugs. These designs let maintainers wear gear that speaks directly to their contribution, while families and fellow Marines can show appreciation for the people keeping the Ugly Angels flying.
It is also an example of how a custom squadron store can represent more than one logo. A maintenance shop or another team within a unit can have a design that recognizes its role while remaining part of the larger collection.
Meet HMH-466: The Wolfpack
Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 (HMH-466), known as the Wolfpack, is also based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and belongs to Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. Commissioned in 1984 as a CH-53E squadron, the Wolfpack has a history of heavy-lift aviation supporting the movement of troops, supplies, and equipment. Read more on the official HMH-466 squadron page.
The HMH-466 online store brings Wolfpack identity to everyday apparel and useful accessories. Its collection includes Wolf, Night, Sunset, and Freedom designs alongside embroidered squadron patch merchandise.
Supporters can choose from T-shirts, hoodies, polos, quarter-zips, soft shell vests, caps, and beanies, as well as backpacks, duffle bags, blankets, and tote coolers. That variety gives the program more opportunities to connect with Marines, spouses, relatives, and friends than a single fundraiser shirt would.
Wolfpack gear for the course, travel, and home
For supporters looking for something beyond a T-shirt, the Wolfpack store includes OGIO golf bags, embroidered polos, backpacks, blankets, and coolers. These choices expand the fundraiser into useful gear for different interests and occasions.

Custom military merchandise that feels like your unit
A successful military unit apparel store should feel specific to the people it represents. We work with each group on its product mix and designs, from squadron graphics and embroidered insignia to merchandise recognizing a particular crew or shop.
Select items can also be personalized. Depending on the product and decoration method, we can discuss names, text, or other agreed details. Personalization options are selected for each program and offered on the applicable products, so customers can see what is available before ordering.
Whether someone wants a comfortable tee, an embroidered layer, or a personalized gift, the focus stays on quality merchandise that people will use beyond a single event.
How a no-cost military fundraising store works
- We build your collection. We work with your group on its identity, merchandise, and available customization.
- Your group shares its store. Marines, families, and supporters order directly online.
- We produce and fulfill orders. Our on-demand approach means your organizers do not have to buy a stack of shirts upfront, collect individual payments, or pack customer orders.
- Your group earns from sales. A percentage of every qualifying sale your group generates goes back to its fundraising program, with commission terms agreed before launch.
For an officers’ ball committee, that means merchandise can support fundraising while the organizers focus on the event. The same approach can serve other military squadrons, companies, platoons, battalions, and unit communities looking for a managed online merchandise program.
